Earn Money Without Website

Affiliate Marketing is becoming more and more popular as time goes on. There is a big perception that you need a website in order to make money as an affiliate. Is this true? No, it is not. Although having a website can make some matters easier, it is not necessary to have one in order to be a successful affiliate.

There are other alternatives that one could take advantage of and produce the same results as other affiliates that have websites. Not having a website can also be a cost effective method of allowing those on a tight budget a chance to market products and services effectively. Let's go over several different ways that an affiliate can use to make money for him or herself without a website.

First, what is Affiliate Marketing? Affiliate Marketing is where an individual agrees to participate in a joint venture with a merchant of a product or service. The merchant provides the product or service and the affiliate provides the marketing, which gives the product or service exposure on the Internet. In exchange for the affiliates marketing, he or she is rewarded with handsome commissions when their referrals buy into the service or product.

The merchant takes care of matters such as providing the selling page for the affiliate, product delivery, and payment arrangements. This is great for the affiliate since they do not have to get involved with the customer directly. The affiliate is provided with a special link that surfers must click on in order for the merchant to give the affiliate credit for the sale. Each affiliates link is different.

What are the methods affiliates can use to market their merchant's products and services without a website?

Marketing in forums-Forums are like virtual groups that exist online. Each forum caters to a specific topic or niche. As an affiliate you want to market to a forum that would be interested in the product or service that you are promoting. For example, you would want to target forums that discuss weight loss if you are promoting a weight loss product.

Make an intelligent post in response to a question or statement in the forum. Put your link along with your name in your signature box (normally forums have a signature box for you to type your name). If your post is helpful, forum participants will click on your link to see what you are up to. If they like the product or service you are promoting, they may make a purchase.

I have to warn you about posting in forums. If other forum participants see that you are only there to market, you will get the third degree from them! In some forums, you can even get banned. Be very careful.

Marketing in ezines-Ezines also known as electronic magazines. You can place your affiliate link within ezines and may get incredible results from doing so. A good ezine has hundreds, if not thousands of readers that may need or want what you are promoting.

Although ezines are great, it will cost you money to place your link within them. Typically an ezine publisher only makes money from the advertising and not from subscription fees. It will be worth your time if you can invest a few dollars into marketing in ezines.

Article Marketing-This is an easy way to drive traffic to your sales page. Simply write an article about your product or service and submit your article-to-article directories along with your link. You may want to be smooth with this approach. Instead of directly talking about the product or article you are promoting, talk about an issue that is related to the product or article. If your article is good, readers will want to know more about you and click on your link.

Who says that you can't make money as an affiliate without a website? I have shown you three simple and proven ways that can allow you to make revenue on the Internet as an affiliate. These three simple ways can only work if you put them into action!
